Meet April
I offer individual and couples counseling in Austin, TX. I work with adults who have come from difficult backgrounds and are looking for relief from their struggles, or just more joy in their day-to-day lives. Having a difficult background could mean you had a dangerous or unsatisfactory childhood, a history of abusive relationships, a family where addiction was present, or parents who struggled with mental health issues of their own. If there is a lot of conflict or fighting in your relationships, you struggle with anxiety, or you're looking for more purpose and meaning in your life, therapy can help.

Before returning to school to become a therapist, I worked for 10 years in the marketing and communications field. Using that experience and my first-hand knowledge of corporate and start-up cultures, I also enjoy working with young adults on career counseling, supporting them to achieve work-life balance and find the best path for them.
Whether you're looking for short-term support on a specific problem or have challenges in several areas of your life, I can individually tailor our work together to meet your needs.
